Yes there are several ways to come up with natural links. One way is to write a very good press release about a subject related to your industry. The second way is to write some very good content for your website that people will want to link to it for information resources. The third way is to create controversy with a blog post or some content on your website that others feel the need to share this information from their websites back to yours.
The key to creating backlinks is to find and use good link bait. Link bait can be positive or negitive either can and will produce link bait.
I good example is the thread about
Morgan Carey- Real Estate Webmasters Hacks PREN. Now this wasnt created for link bait purposes but it has created several backlinks back to this forum.
