Default Re: Are referrals paid for?

Different strokes for different folks would be my answer. If your clients are truly satisfied with your services then they should be happy to pass on the message to their contacts. However, this is very difficult to predict or track.

However, other real estate professionals may choose to pay a fee or percentage to other real estate professionals or businesses to get clients coming their way. This will cost you but it will also allow you to predict your clients and determine where you're getting the most of your referrals from (Which you should keep track of).

An example of the above would be you going to a series of mortgage brokers and offering them 5% of your total commission for sending clients your way.
